Riyadh, Asharq Al-Awsat—Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz met with Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro in the Saudi capital Riyadh on Saturday, to discuss boosting bilateral relations and mutual cooperation between the two countries.

Maduro was accompanied on the trip by first lady Cilia Flores, Foreign Minister Delcy Rodríguez, Oil Minister Asdrúbal Chávez, Finance Minister Rodolfo Marco Torres, Defense Minister Gen. Vladimir Padrino López, as well as Venezuela’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

Following the visit, Maduro and the Venezuelan delegation were seen off by Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin before departing the Kingdom for Algiers.
