MOSUL, Iraq,AP -Two suicide bombers strapped with explosives killed at least 10 people and wounded 19 more in separate attacks on an Iraqi military base and a hospital in northern Iraq on Sunday, police and hospital officials say.

The first attack happened at an Iraqi military base in southwest Mosul and targeted civilian employees working there, killing five people, said Dr. Baha al-Din al-Bakri of Mosul Jumhouri Teaching Hospital.

The second suicide bomber walked into the teaching hospital and entered a room for police officers guarding the facility and blew himself up, killing five policemen, police Brig. Gen. Wathiq Mohammed Tahr said.
