GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip, AP – Palestinian militants on Wednesday freed three foreigners they had seized in retaliation for Israel’s raid on a West Bank prison.

A South Korea journalist and two French citizens were released, leaving just one foreigner, a Canadian, in captivity, Palestinian security officials said.

Palestinian gunmen seized a total of 11 foreigners after Tuesday’s 10-hourm prison siege.

Officials at the South Korean Embassy were unable to confirm Wednesday’s release.
