Riyadh, Asharq Al-Awsat—Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, was admitted to a Riyadh hospital to undergo medical tests, state media reported on Wednesday.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that King Abdullah was undergoing “medical checkups” at King Abdulaziz Medical City of the National Guard in the capital Riyadh on Wednesday.

“May Allah preserve the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and bestow upon him good health,” the SPA report concluded.

There were no further details.
