Saudi Embassy: No Saudi Students Among Detained UK Terror Suspects - ASHARQ AL-AWSAT English Archive

London, Asharq Al-Awsat- HRH Prince Mohammed Bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, has refuted the news reported on the front page of a British newspaper stating that “two Saudi medical students in UK were among the people detained by the British government.”

The Saudi ambassador’s statements follow the [failed] terrorist events that recently took place in Britain.

He added that, “this information is inaccurate,” pointing out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemns these acts and the perpetrators responsible for them whoever they may be. He called for the necessity of accuracy and objectivity in press investigations when receiving information from official sources.
