Saudi Arabia Provides $ 1.5 Million to &#34Tsunami&#34 Victims - ASHARQ AL-AWSAT English Archive

Riyadh, SPA — The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz has approved the provision of $ 1,500,000 from the amounts collected through a campaign of charity donations to assist those who are hit by &#34Tsunami&#34 disaster.

This amount will be delivered to the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and registered in the international organizations.

This assistance comes in response to a clarification made by the OIC Secretary General after a meeting with Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister, in which he said that the OIC needs urgently this amount to start its relief program and hopes that the Kingdom provides it.
