Rebels kidnap 16 Iranian border policemen as Pakistan sends 4 suspects back to Iran - ASHARQ AL-AWSAT English Archive

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) – The official IRNA news agency says rebels have kidnapped 16 Iranian border policemen in the southeast of the country and taken them to Pakistan.

Pakistan, meanwhile, has handed over to Iran Abbulhamid Rigi, brother of the leader of the little-known Jundallah group and three others to Iran for their role in a low-level insurgency campaign in southeastern Iran.
