TEHRAN, Iran,(AP) – A lawyer says the parents of an American-Iranian journalist jailed in Iran have met with their daughter in prison.

He says the couple from North Dakota visited their daughter, Roxana Saberi, for half an hour on Monday at Evin prison.

The lawyer, Abdolsamad Khorramshai, says Roxana is in good health.

Her parents, Reza and Akiko Saberi, arrived in Iran on Sunday.

Iranian officials say Saberi was arrested for working in the country after her press credentials expired. She has reported for several news organizations.

The family found out about Roxana’s arrest in a Feb. 10 phone call from her.
