Asharq Al-Awsat would like to offer its most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Ahmed al Rabey who died in Kuwait on Wednesday, 4 March 2008.

Ahmed al Rabey passed away aged 59 after a long battle with cancer. He was one of Kuwait’s most prominent liberal politicians. He was a regular columnist for Asharq Al-Awsat Newspaper.
