BAGHDAD, (Reuters) – Mortar rounds killed four people and wounded eight others on Friday in Baghdad’s eastern neighbourhood of Diyala Bridge, police said.

The toll is preliminary and likely to rise, they said.

Militants are still able to stage frequent bomb attacks against civilians and security forces in Iraq despite an overall drop in violence over the last year.
