ROME (AP) – Italy’s foreign minister said Wednesday that 14 people died during riots over Prophet Mohammad cartoons in front of the Italian consulate in Libya last week, three more than previously reported.

Gianfranco Fini said that citizens from foreign countries were also believed to have died in the riots Friday. The minister, addressing lawmakers, did not elaborate and cited “official Libyan sources.”
