GCC Radio and Television Committee to Hold Meeting in Dubai - ASHARQ AL-AWSAT English Archive

Riyadh, Asharq Al-Awsat – The Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Consultative Committee of Radio and Television will hold its first meeting on Wednesday in Dubai under the Chairmanship of Saudi Arabia’s Under Secretary for Information Affairs Dr. Abdullah Al-Jasser.

Director of GCC Radio and Television Body Dr.Abdullah bin Sa’eed Abu Ras said that the committee was formed by a decision of the Body’s Board of Directors under the chairmanship of Minister of Culture & Information Iyad bin Amin Madani to develop mechanisms of the GCC body to cope up with the latest advances in this field.

The committee will also discuss the comprehensive developmental plan of the GCC Radio and Television Body and the work plan for the years 2006 and 2007.
