KUWAIT, (Reuters) – Telecommunications firm Zain said on Wednesday its management has not received any official offers for a stake in the company.

The statement to the Kuwaiti bourse came after CNBC Arabiya said Emirates Telecommunications Corp (Etisalat) has offered to buy 46 percent of Zain.

“The group’s executive management did not receive any official offer,” the statement said.
