Riyadh, Asharq Al-Awsat- His Royal Highness Deputy Governor of Riyadh, Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz, awarded commemorative plaques to the organizers who contributed to making the Saudi-UAE Economic Forum a huge success. The plaques were provided by Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper and were distributed by Prince Sattam last Sunday.
UAE Minister of Economy, Sheikha Lubna Bint Khaled al Qasimi, awarded his Royal Highness, Prince Faisal Bin Salman, chairman of the Saudi Research and Marketing Group with a commemorative plaque to mark the commencement of the forum.
The heads of governmental and private institutions alike have received commemorative awards in the form of a miniature version of the first Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper issue inside a glass plaque. Asharq Al-Awsat collaborated with the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry, which was responsible for organizing the event, and the Council of Saudi Chambers of Commerce.
Participating in the platinum sponsorship was one of the development companies under Dubai Holding Group, Tanmiyat Group and Sorouh Real Estate Company, in addition to Mobily Company and the Emirates Bank Group. Al Arabiya satellite channel had exclusive coverage of the event.
Participants in the gold sponsorship included Jafza Company in the Jebel Ali free zone. Both Saudi and UAE companies contributed to the silver sponsorship including Alawsat Economic Consulting, Rasmala Investments, Etihad Salehia Company, Crystal Ark Company and al Qudra Holding Company.
