CAIRO,(KUNA) — The American chambers of commerce in Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan will meet in Beirut early next month to announce establishing the first joint American trade chamber in the Arab countries.

The joint American commerce chamber aims at stimulating and protecting investments between the United States (U.S) and the Arab world, said the President of American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham Egypt) Dr. Taher Hilmi in press statements on Sunday.

Egypt, he added, will assume the joint chamber”s first periodic presidency at the meeting that will take place in Beirut at the beginning of July.

He explained that the planned chamber will work on presenting investment opportunities in the Arab countries to persons residing in the U.S.
