STOCKHOLM, (Reuters) – Citigroup on Wednesday made a block trade in exchange operator OMX for 950,000 shares at 286 crowns per share, according to Reuters data from the Stockholm stock exchange.
The stake equals 0.8 percent of shares in OMX.
Borse Dubai and Nasdaq have teamed up to offer 265 crowns per share of OMX.
But the Qatar Investment Authority has declared a 9.98 percent stake and said it is considering increasing its holding.
In recent weeks Citigroup has made block trades for millions of OMX shares. Sources familiar with the matter have said the bank has sought to buy shares for the Qatar group.
