Washington- Republican nominee Donald Trump might not make it to the White House but the candidate has already succeeded in creating a change in the political scene through several of his proposals, which are appealing to the public, and through the divisions he sowed inside in his party.

It actually seems that Trump will leave his mark even after the completion of the November 8 elections.

The Republican audience supported him and admired his honesty that sometimes has been described as rudeness. This candidate, who comes from outside the world of politics, has stirred public anger and concerns over globalization and demographic changes.

The wealthy businessman caused a crack in the party through his rude language and his stances that contradict with the Republican Party — Trump rejects free trade and is stricter than the Party in the matter of immigration.
However, he is more practical in issues of social benefits and financial deficit.

“Basically, the Republican leadership hates Trump,” Robert Shapiro, professor of political science at Columbia University, said.

“His supporters are still going to be there, and they are going to have their positions on trade and immigration and all these other issues,” said Shapiro.

“And what will also remain is the hate for the Democrats and Hillary Clinton and also the mainstream Republican Party,” he added.

Not only did Trump insult his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, he also humiliated women, Hispanics, Muslims and individuals with special needs. The U.S. media said on several occasion that Trump killed his political career more than once after he exaggerated on many issues and following the scandal on sexual harassment of women went public.

Some expect Trump to form his own political movement based on the massive data he has collected on his supporters throughout the electoral campaign. While others say that this is unlikely and that he will most probably move to the television and digital media sector.

Yet, Trump might surprise everyone once again and return to his affairs to support his commercial brand named after him.
