New York- U.S. President-elect Donald Trump continues to carry out discussions with his transition team regarding new names to undertake ministerial portfolios in the upcoming administration.

A newly introduced figure is South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley who is under consideration for Secretary of State, according to CNN and MSNBC.

Several names rose to the surface regarding this major portfolio especially that Trump had made promises during his campaign that would actually be difficult to be fulfilled on the international level.

Some of these names are: former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton.

A series of meetings were held on Thursday between Trump and more candidates to the most prominent position in administration.

Some reports revealed that Trump believes it would difficult to garner the U.S. Senate approval over Giuliani due to his controversial professional relations.

On the other side, Haley was born to immigrants from India. She had bickered with Trump on various topics but ended up supporting the Republican Party.

Furthermore, Trump replied through three tweets to what has been published by The New York Times that some foreign leaders are facing difficulty contacting the president-elect.

He insisted his White House transition to power is going smoothly, describing the report of the newspaper as totally false. He added that he spoke to many officials including leaders from Britain, China, Japan, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Australia.
