London- British Prime Minister Theresa May has called on politicians to improve their behaviors toward equality, migration, and globalization, warning they may lose control against the policy of division.

Six months after her appointment as Prime Minister following Brexit, May said that the governments should work on accelerating the building of a strongest and more cohesive community.

In a keynote she addressed in London, the Leader of the Conservative Party said that when the major political powers fail, people adopt extremism, division, and frustration. She added that people prefer voices that pretend to know their problems and provide them with easy solutions.

May continued saying that those voices have acquired significant importance in some European countries today; they emerge from the right and left wings and exploit some politicians’ behaviors, which grew oppression and division and long ignored peoples’ fears.

Preparations for Brexit have dominated the council of ministers’ schedule while the negotiations of separation with the European Union (EU) are expected to kick off by the end of March.

In her election speech, May said people chose Brexit because they felt they are not concerned in the political and social speech in Britain. She called to address many problems like recession, concerns over migration, lack of employment security and high costs of housing.

The Prime Minister promised to reduce housing costs aiming to alleviate youth’s concerns, and to set a new industrial formula that helps with the distribution of employments and wealth.

Meanwhile, the Sterling Pound dropped to its lowest levels in two months following the talks on the reformulation of commercial ties with the EU after Bexit, while the U.S. Dollar surged supported by rumors saying that the United States may raise interest rates in 2017.

The sterling pound fell against Euro and U.S. Dollar after May’s statement saying that she is not interested in keeping the EU membership; instead, she said that she has sought an amended agreement for Britain and rejected criticisms accusing her of being confused.

In North Ireland, Martin McGuiness, deputy first minister said that he will resign; this resignation will lead to the cabinet’s collapse and the organization of new elections.

The Sinn Féin Party, to which belongs McGuiness, urged the First Minister Arlene Foster to launch investigation on the government’s controversial energy program, which will cost taxpayers millions of pounds, according to Sinn Féin.
