Riyadh – Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi stressed on Sunday the importance of supporting the national army and the popular resistance in battles.

During a meeting in the Saudi capital Riyadh, Hadi urged mayors of Maarib, Hajjah, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb and Saada to “exert maximum efforts in the field, join resistance fighters to check their condition and back them and unify efforts towards the noble purpose, which is liberating all provinces of the country from Houthi and Saleh rebels that are supported by Iran,” reported Saba Net.

The news agency added that the Yemeni president discussed with the mayors the current national situation and field developments in various provinces, as well as the achievements of the national army and the popular resistance with the support of the Arab Coalition.

Hadi called on everyone to double the efforts in face of challenges.

For their part, the mayors expressed satisfaction with the meeting that discussed the condition in various regions and provinces “that are still suffering from the barbarism and siege of rebels” and experiencing sectarian discrimination.
