Aden- Coupists, who are controlling Yemeni Capital Sana’a, has sent on Monday three messages to the United Nations, according to their news agency.

The agency said that Houthi-Saleh government’s Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf met with UN Resident Coordinator in Sana’a Jamie McGoldrick.

During the meeting, Sharaf delivered three messages to the United Nations Security Council on the situation in Yemen.

The agency explained that the messages are addressed to Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres, President of the 71th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations Peter Thomson and President of the Security Council for the current month Sacha Sergio Llorentty Solíz.

The messages emphasized the sovereign right of the Republic of Yemen to defend and preserve the sovereignty and territorial integrity of its territories.

The messages also stressed that Yemen extends the hand of peace and attacked what it called the “illegal practices” of the pro-legitimacy coalition in many lands and islands in the country.

According to the agency, the meeting between the two parties tackled the deteriorated humanitarian situation in Yemen, especially with the spread of cholera and what the UN, the organizations, agencies and programs operating under its umbrella provide.

The UN Resident Coordinator in Sana’a reiterated the importance of reaching a political solution to address the deterioration of the humanitarian situation, according to the media source of the coup government.

Military Spokesman for the Houthi militias Sharaf Ghalib Luqman said earlier on Monday that “military options are open to the Houthis to respond to the operations of the coalition to support the legitimacy.

“Our military capabilities are now better than ever, and we are about to translate a new reality in the field to undermine the movements of the Arab alliance,” Luqman said.

Luqman also attacked the UN Security Council, which is “biased.” He said that the silent and declared international stances of the Security Council confirm the extent of its involvement in a policy that is biased to the interests of some major powers.
