Woman Killed, 2 Injured in Jazan after Projectile Attack from Yemen - ASHARQ AL-AWSAT English Archive

Riyadh-A Saudi woman was killed and a man and his son were injured in a projectile attack on Saudi border towns from Yemeni territories.

The official spokesman of Directorate of Civil Defense in Jazan Region Major Yahya bin Abdullah Al-Qahtani said the civil defense teams dealt with a fall of a military projectile fired from Yemeni territories on Al-Tuwal Governorate resulting in the death of one woman and the injury of a man and his son, all of them are Saudis.

He indicated that they were transported to the hospital, and the concerned authorities began taking the required measures.

Several people, including women and children, have been killed and injured in similar projectile attacks carried out by Houthi insurgents in Yemen

The latest attack left a woman and her toddler injured in Najran.
