LONDON (AP) – Britain’s Court of Appeal has rejected a bid by four men convicted of failed suicide bombings to challenge their convictions.

The four men, Muktar Said Ibrahim, Yassin Omar, Ramzi Mohammed and Hussain Osman, were convicted of attempting to detonate explosives on London subway trains on July 21, 2005. No one was injured in the attacks.

Three appeal judges also ruled on Wednesday that the 40-year-sentences for the men were not excessive.
