RIYADH, (Reuters) – Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah invited Iraq’s political parties on Saturday to attend talks in the kingdom to overcome political gridlock since inconclusive elections, state news agency SPA said.

The talks would be held in the Saudi capital Riyadh after the annual pilgrimage haj ending in mid-November, SPA said.

Iraq has no government as the political parties failed to agree on forming a government after the election in March.
