Ha’il, Asharq Al Awsat- On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, who chairs the Foundation for His Parents for Developmental Housing, the governor of Ha’il, Prince Saud Bin Abdul Mohsen Bin Abdulaziz will inaugurate a project in al Ghazala, Ha’il, on June 9, 2007.

The inauguration ceremony will see Prince Saud presenting documents and keys to houses to the chosen citizens. 254 houses that each measure 396 square meters will be accommodated by 1778 citizens. The project has cost a total of 60 million Saudi Riyals.

The secretary-general of the foundation, Dr Yousef Bin Ahmed al Othaimeen, stated that the development project for housing in this province had been completed and was ready to accommodate citizens in need of housing. The houses are fully furnished in a modern and economical way and can be expanded to suit the needs of the resident.

The project involves other facilities such as mosques, gender-segregated schools, social and cultural centers, training centers, administrative centers, healthcare centers, roads, lighting and telephone services. Dr al Othaimeen explained that the development programs in the fields of education, training and employment would propel residents to be productive members of society.
