Riyadh, Asharq Al-Awsat – The following is a list of 7 royal orders issued by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz on 20 May 2011, taken from the Saudi Press Agency:

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud today issued seven royal orders, they are as follows:

Relieving Sheikh Ibrahim bin Shaya Al-Huqail, President of Court of Grievances from his post [and] appointing Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Nassar as President of Court of Grievances at the rank of a minister.

Relieving Dr. Ali bin Suleiman Al-Attiyah, Deputy Minister of Higher Education from his post.

Relieving Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Seef, Director of Ha’il University from his post, and appointing him as a deputy to the Minister of Higher Education.

Appointing Engineer Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Darrab as Governor of Communication and Information Technology Commission (Excellent Rank).

Retirement of Field Marshal Saleh bin Ali bin Mohammed Al-Muhaya from his post as Chief of the General Staff

Promotion of Lieutenant General Hussein bin Abdullah bin Hussein Al-Qabeel (Deputy Chief of the General Staff) to the rank of Field Marshal and appointment as Chief of the General Staff.

Appointment of Lieutenant General Abdurrahman bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Murshid (Commander of Ground Forces) as Deputy Chief of the General Staff.

Promotion of Major General Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the rank of Lieutenant General, and appointment as Commander of the Ground Forces.

Extension of the services of Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Suwaiyel, President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (rank of minister) for four years, as of 16/06/1432 AH.

Extension of the services of Engineer Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Hokail, President of Saudi Railways Organization (rank of minister) for four years, as of 16/06/1432 AH.

Extension of the services of Dr. Zaid bin Abdulmohsen Al-Hussein, Vice President of the Human Rights Commission (excellent rank) for four years, as of 16/06/1432 AH.

The royal order instructs all concerned authorities to carry out these directives with immediate effect.
