Saudi Crown Prince Condoles Emir of Qatar on Death of Sheikh Khalifa - ASHARQ AL-AWSAT English Archive

Riyadh, Doha- Crown Prince Muhammed Bin Nayef, deputy premier and minister of interior expressed his condolences to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on the death of late Emir Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani as he arrived to Doha on Tuesday in a short visit that only lasted few hours.

Following the reception, the Crown Prince was accompanied by Emir of Qatar to the venue of offering condolences, at Wajbah Palace, where the Crown Prince offered condolences to Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow mercy upon the late and to provide them with patience and consolation.

The Crown Prince offered condolences to Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Vice Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Khalifa Al Thani, Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani and Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al Thani.

For their parts, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani expressed utmost thanks and appreciation of the Crown Prince for consoling them on losing the late Sheikh and prayed to God to prolong, forever, the brethren relations binding the two fraternal countries and peoples.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef was accompanied by Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Prince Nawaf bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who offered their condolences on the death of the Grandfather Emir.

Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Sheikh Mohamed bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al-Thani along with a number of officials received the Crown Prince at the Airport.
