Jeddah – Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Mohammed bin Salman telephoned on Friday the newly appointed Japanese foreign minister, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Prince Mohammed discussed with Foreign Minister Taro Kono the strategic partnership between their countries.

He also congratulated him on his appointment to his new position in the Foreign Ministry.

The two officials also said that they looked forward to developing Saudi-Japanese bilateral ties, said SPA.
