Jeddah- Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Mohammed bin Salman held talks on Tuesday with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa on bilateral relations, in addition to latest regional and international developments, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

King Hamad reiterated Bahrain’s unwavering support to Saudi Arabia in combating terrorism and all those who support or fund it.

The Vice Custodian received the Bahraini monarch in Jeddah.

King Hamad backed the dedicated efforts of the kingdom guided, by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, to strengthen cohesion and bolster unity in order to confront all challenges that threaten regional security and prey on the Arab and Islamic nations.

“We affirm that the whole Muslim world stands with Saudi Arabia in its dedicated endeavors and leading role in defending the Islamic nation and championing its causes,” King Hamad stated during a news conference.

He also said the he valued the Saudi-led efforts to enhance the standard of services and facilities put at the disposal Hajj pilgrims.

Bahrain’s King Hamad “hailed the two countries’ deep historical roots and shared fundamentals and visions, which are expanding bilateral relations.”

The king’s meeting with the Saudi Vice Custodian was attended by Minister of Interior Abdulaziz bin Saud, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and President of the Royal Court Khaled al-Issa, and other senior officials.

Upon arrival on Tuesday evening, the Bahraini delegation was received at the International King Abdulaziz Airport by Prince Mohammad bin Salman.
