Jeddah- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz held a meeting with South Korean Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn after hosting his reception earlier Sunday at Al Salam Palace in Jeddah.

Bilateral affairs, cooperation among the two countries in all spheres and sectors, development and reinforcement were all discussed at the meeting.

Regional and international developments were also broached at the session. In the presence of both King Salman and PM Kyo-ahn, two memorandums of understanding, a program of action and an executive program between the Governments of the two countries were signed at Al-Salam Palace.

A memorandum of understanding for political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir and South Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Lim Sung Nam.

An executive program for cooperation in the land field between the Ministry of Transport in the Kingdom and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in South Korea was signed by Minister of Transport Sulaiman bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan and South Korean Deputy Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Choi Jeong Hee.

An action program in the field of investment attraction between Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority in the Kingdom and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy in South Korea was signed by Prince Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal, the Chief Executive Officer of Investment Systems and Policies and South Korean Vice Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy Woo Tae-hee .

A memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the fight against crime between the two countries was signed by Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Salem, and South Korean Deputy Commissioner General of National Police Agency Lee Sang-chul.

The signing ceremony was attended by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region; Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Cabinet’s Member and Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Interior Minister; Minister of State and Cabinet’s Member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf; Minister of Economy and Planning Engineer Adel bin Mohammed Faqih; Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Qassabi; Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi; and Saudi Ambassador to South Korea Riad Bin Ahmed Al-Mubaraki.

South Korean Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn and his attachés left Jeddah on Sunday, ending a two-day official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

At King Abdulaziz International Airport, the South Korean Prime Minister was seen off by Eng. Adel bin Mohammed Faqeh, Minister of Economy and Planning, who is also the official senior guide of the delegation; Riyadh bin Ahmed Al-Mubaraki, the Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Korea; Ahmed bin Zafer, Director of the Royal Protocol office for Makkah Region; and a number of officials.
