Riyadh-Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud held on Monday official wide-ranging talks with Sudan’s President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir at his palace in Riyadh.

During the session, they reviewed bilateral relations and prospects of strengthening cooperation in all fields. They also discussed the latest developments in the region.

The Saudi-Sudanese meeting was attended by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, governor of Riyadh; Prince Dr. Mansour bin Mutaib bin Abdulaziz, minister of state, Cabinet member and advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Mutaib bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, minister of the National Guard; Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, deputy premier and minister of interior; Dr. Musaed al-Aiban, minister of state and Cabinet member; Dr. Ibrahim al-Assaf, minister of Finance; Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Saeed, minister of state, Cabinet member and acting minister of culture and information; Eng. Abdulrahman al-Fadli, minister of environment, water and agriculture and the accompanying minister for the Sudanese delegation; and Dr. Nizar Obaid Madani, minister of state for foreign affairs.

From the Sudanese part, the meeting was attended by Minister of the Presidency Dr. Fazul Abdullah Fadel, Foreign Minister Prof. Ibrahim Ghandour, Minister of State Director of the Office of the President Taha Osman Hussein, Dr. Abdul-Malik Al-Berair and Sudanese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Abdul Basit Badawi al-Sanosi.

King Salman held a luncheon banquet in honor of Bashir and his accompanying delegation.

Later in the evening, Bashir arrived in Madinah and visited the Prophet’s Mosque.

On the other hand, King Salman bin Abdulaziz received at Al-Yamamah palace on Monday Speaker of National Assembly of Republic of Chad, Dr. Haroun Kabadi and his accompanying delegation.

At the outset of the reception, Dr. Kabadi conveyed to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques the greetings of Chadian President Idriss Déby Itno.

Then, they reviewed a number of issues of common interest, especially the prospects of cooperation between the two countries in the parliamentary field.

The audience was attended by Shura Council Speaker Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Al-Sheikh; Minister of State and Cabinet’s Member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban; Minister of State, Cabinet’s Member and Acting Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Essam bin Saad bin Saeed; Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Nizar bin Obaid Madani; Saudi Ambassador to Chad Faisal bin Muslat Al-Mandeel and Chadian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Saqr Yusuf Itno.
