Riyadh- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz held at Al-Yammamh Palace a session of official talks with President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Republic of Kazakhstan.

They reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields. They also discussed the latest developments at the regional and international arenas.

Following the session of talks, they attended a signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and three agreements between the governments of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The memorandum of understanding in the fields of agriculture and livestock was co-signed Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdurrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli and Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Askar Myrzakhmetov.

An agreement of cooperation in the field of peaceful uses of atomic energy was co-signed by President of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy Dr. Hashim bin Abdullah Yamani and Kazakhstan’s Minister of Energy Kanat Bozumbayev.

The two agreements in the fields of extradition of wanted persons and the other in the transfer of persons sentenced to penalties involving deprivation of liberty was co-signed by Deputy Interior Minister Abdulrahman bin Ali Al-Rubaiaan and Kazakhstan’s Prosecutor Zhaqip Asanov.

Earlier on the day, Riyadh Emir Prince Faisal Bin Bandar and a number of officials accorded him a warm reception on arrival.

Nazarbayev also held separate talks with Iyad Madani, secretary general of Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Their talks mainly figured issues of common interest.
