Saudi FM Offers Condolences to Consulate Staff in Karachi - ASHARQ AL-AWSAT English Archive

Karachi, Riyadh- Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed al-Jubeir has offered condolences over the drowning of Saudi consulate staff members in Karachi, Pakistan, during a trip to the beach on Saturday.

Jubeir tweeted, offering condolences to their families and praying that God grants them mercy.

Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Ahmad al-Maliki stated that the deceased employees of the consulate are: Alaa bin Attiya al-Qathami, Abdullah bin Faleh al-Subaie and Fahd, the son of employee Fihan al-Osaimi.

Maliki stated that the embassy in Islamabad and the consulate in Karachi have taken all necessary measures after communicating with their families to transfer their bodies to the Kingdom, praising the efforts and cooperation of officials in the Pakistani ministries of foreign affairs and interior and the navy, with the embassy, in this regard.
