Riyadh-Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister met with President of the Republic of Maldives Abdulla Yamin Abdul Gayoom and the accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the two discussed means of cooperation between the two countries and recent developments at Islamic and international arenas.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Commerce and Investment Majed al-Qasabi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed al-Jubeir, Adviser at the Royal Court Ahmed al-Khatib, Adviser at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of office of Minister of Defense Fahd al-Essa, Saudi Ambassador to Republic of Maldives Badr al-Kaheel.
