Riyadh – Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense met in Riyadh on Sunday with Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Company Dow Chemical Andrew N. Liveris, currently on a visit to the Kingdom.

During the reception, they reviewed existing investment opportunities for the company in the Kingdom and chances for attracting new investments, in accordance with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Last June, the No. 1 U.S. chemical maker by sales Dow Chemical Co became the first foreign company to receive a trading license from Saudi Arabia as the kingdom plans to diversify its economy and free its dependence on oil exports amid a slump in global oil prices.

The trading license will give full ownership in the country’s trading sector.
