Saudi Crown Prince Received by the Algerian President in Algiers | ASHARQ AL-AWSAT English Archive 2005 -2017

The Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz who is also the First Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior met the Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika at the presidential palace in Algiers yesterday.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed events in the Arab, Islamic and international arenas, as well as bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways of enhancing them that “serve the interests of the two countries and peoples in all spheres”.

Prince Mohammed conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to President Abdelaziz Bouteflika. The meeting was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz who is an Advisor to the Minister of the Interior and the Saudi Ambassador to Algeria Dr Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh.

The Crown Prince arrived in Algiers yesterday where he was received upon his arrival at Houari Boumediene International Airport by the Minister of State and Special Advisor to the President of Algeria Mr Tayeb Belaiz, the Saudi Ambassador to Algeria Dr Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh and a number of senior officials.

In other news, the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz who is also the First Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior granted the Order of Courage to all security personnel who participated in a security mission to arrest Taya Salem Yaslam Al-Sayari, a man who was wanted by police.
