Jeddah – Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, will patronize “Tufan 7” exercise on Wednesday. He will also patronize the graduation ceremony of 6021 students from the Border Guard courses at the Mohammed bin Nayef Academy for Security Sciences and Studies in Jeddah.

Director General of the Border Guard, General Awad bin Eid al-Balawi thanked the Crown Prince for his sponsorship of the exercise and the graduation ceremony, according to Saudi Press Agency.

He stated that the exercise will involve the newly developed maritime and land border units, which have been recently introduced. Both border units are run via a new operational concept. In addition, the exercise simulates facing and deterring terrorist attacks against vital sites and islands.
