Jeddah – Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, who is also the kingdom’s Deputy Premier and Interior Minister, confirmed the government headed by King Salman bin Abdulaziz is keen on facilitating and advancing the affairs of citizens and residents wherever they may be.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has constantly directed Saudi governance to save no effort in enhancing security, advancing comprehensive development and serving the interest of both the Kingdom and its citizens, said the Crown Prince.

“King Salman always directs us to exert all efforts to strengthen security and realize comprehensive development to serve the nation and the people,” he said.

This came in a speech given by Crown Prince Mohammad while chairing the 24th annual meeting of emirs of various provinces of the Kingdom in Jeddah on Sunday night.

On the onset of the meeting, the Crown Prince welcomed attending emirs who govern Saudi regions and who have recently been appointed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in some provinces.

More so, he lauded the commendable efforts made by their predecessors.

The emirs discussed several topics on the agenda of the meeting.

Afflictions affecting the Saudi society and ways to address them were reviewed, so was employing modern technology in crime prevention and control.

Diversifying intra-region productive base and sources of income was discussed.

The meeting reviewed the progress made in the recommendations of the previous annual meetings.

At the end of the meeting, the princes of the regions reached a number of resolutions and recommendations that were submitted to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the framework of an integrated report for approved efforts.
