Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef and Minister of Security in Bosnia and Herzegovina signing the comprehensive security cooperation agreement in Jeddah on Monday


Jeddah, Makkah- Saudi Arabia and Bosnia and Herzegovina have signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement in the fight against terrorism, organized crime and illicit trafficking and smuggling of narcotics and psychotropic substances.

The agreement was signed by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Mektic, who was received by the Crown Prince along with his accompanying delegation in Jeddah on Monday.

The meeting tackled means of bilateral relations and methods of enhancing these relations in all fields, especially in security.

The meeting and the signing of the agreement were attended from the Saudi part by Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Adviser to the Interior Minister; Dr. Ahmed Mohammed al-Salem, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior; Khaled bin Ali al-Humaidan, Chief of General Intelligence; and Lieutenant General Abdullah al-Qarni.

From the Bosnian part the official accompanying delegation of the Minister of Security attended the meeting.

In a common matter, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz received Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani, Secretary-General of Gulf Cooperation Council, in Jeddah on Monday.

During the meeting, both parties tackled the GCC joint action in a number of areas, especially those of security, and al-Zayani listened to the directives of the Crown Prince, who praised the Undersecretary’s role.

16TH SCIENTIFIC FORUM FOR HAJJ RESEARCH

Under the auspice of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee have launched the16th Scientific Forum for Hajj Research held by the University of Umm Al-Qura represented by Institute of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Hajj and Umrah Research on Tuesday in the presence of a number of officials, researchers and specialists participating in the forum of Saudi universities, academic institutes, government and private entities.

For his part, Dr. Bakri Asas, stated during a press conference held today at the headquarters of the university with the participation of Dean of the Institute Dr. Atef Asghar and a number of officials at the institute.

“The patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the presence of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz during the opening of the forum confirms the keenness of the wise leadership to provide care and assistance to the guests of the Holly lands in order for them to be able to perform their rituals easily and conveniently,” Asas said.

Atef Asghar pointed out that forum have discussed six themes, which are: construction and engineering applications; health and environment; technology and its applications; management, economy, jurisprudence of Hajj and Umrah; awareness and media; and finally achievements in the developments of services and facilities.
