Al-Khobar- The Council for Economic Affairs and Development held at Al-Aziziyah palace in the Eastern Region’s city of Al-Khobar on Monday night a meeting under the chairmanship of its Chairman Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense.

During the meeting, a number of economic and development issues were reviewed, including the latest developments of the privatization program, its priorities, the legal and legislative framework necessary for its success as well as the programs and projects to be privatized.

The Council was also briefed on a presentation submitted by the Ministry of Economy and Planning on a proposal to establish a National Center for Privatization, including the role and functions of the facility.
