Riyadh – The Saudi Cabinet stressed the Kingdom’s permanent stance at the UN Security Council in its support to the Palestinian people to obtain their rights, including self-determination and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the occupied Palestine lands, including Jerusalem, in accordance with the UN Charter and its resolutions.

It also formally reiterated the Kingdom’s call for the Israeli withdrawal from all occupied Arab lands and to stop building settlements on Palestinian territories since they are illegal and detrimental to peace.

This came during the cabinet session that was chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Monday at al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh.

At the outset of the session, King Salman confirmed that the issuance of a number of royal orders pertaining to matters relating to the homeland, citizens and their interests and appointment of a number of princes and ministers emanates from the keenness to continue the march of development and growth pursued by the country since its foundation by late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud.

He expressed gratitude to former princes, ministers and officials for their efforts in the service of their religion, homeland and citizens, welcoming the appointed princes and ministers and wishing them all success in their missions and new posts.

Meanwhile, the Cabinet praised the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the royal orders that reflect the wise aspects of the policy in leadership organization in a number of regions, as well as administrative organization in government agencies through pumping new blood to enhance efficiency and raise the quality of performance.

The Cabinet said the restoration of the suspended or canceled financial allowances for civil servants and military personnel, based on the recommendation of Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, demonstrated the King’s willingness to care for the public.

It also lauded the King’s directives on the establishment of the national security center and the payment of two months’ salary for participants in the frontlines of the “Decisive Storm” and “Restoration of Hope” operations that encompasses the personnel of the ministries of interior, defense, National Guard and public intelligence.
