Geneva-The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has stressed the importance of humanitarian and voluntary work to provide relief to those who need help in different parts of the world.

The Kingdom, which has 200 charitable organization and volunteering platform inside and abroad, confirmed its continuity of humanitarian works.

This came in a speech given by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva Ambassador Faisal bin Hassan Trad during the ceremony held by the United Nations on the occasion of World Humanitarian Day.

Ambassador Trad pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during the past three decades, has provided more than $120 billion in aid.
