“Saudi Arabia does not use religion as an emblem. It has Arab and Islamic identity, in accordance with its people’s identity, unlike the countries that use Islamic slogans to justify their hostile actions, such as Iran,” he added.

Regarding relations between Saudi Arabia and the United States, he pointed out that United States understands the importance of these relations between the two countries.

He said that relations with the United States were and are still strong and successful.
He noted that these relations faced a lot of challenges and pressures over the years but overtook successfully and became solid in several areas, reflecting the positive role of Saudi Arabia in the world.

He said that relations with the U.S. have started from business sector and through personal relations among individuals via petroleum, engineering, education and students’ activities.

In regard to the “JASTA” law, he said that this matter concerns the United States, and a large number of countries have expressed displeasure of this law.

On incidents happening in Yemen and on borders, Prince Abdullah said: “Whoever breaches our borders and carry out criminal acts will be punished. We support the legislative government, and whoever wants to solve the Yemeni crisis should specify the party responsible for this conflict.”

On the other hand, talking about Syrian crisis, the Saudi Ambassador confirmed that Saudi Arabia is not searching for enemies in Syria.

He said that Saudi Arabia’s stance against Bashar al-Assad comes in line with his criminal and hideous acts against Syrian people, who have been suffering from displacement and deaths.
