Riyadh – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz has called for the performance of Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayer all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Thursday, Safar 10.

The Royal Court issued a statement on Monday saying that the request is done as was the custom of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) to perform rain-seeking prayer when drought prevails.

The statement urged all on supplicating to Allah Almighty for forgiveness and repentance, doing good deeds and charities, and praying for rainfall.
