Riyadh- The King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies held on Monday closed-ring discussions with a delegation composed of senior European counselors with a renowned expertise on foreign affairs and relations.

The seminar touched on three chief topics, namely the Saudi regional role showcased as the role of the firm initiator, Saudi-European regional cooperation broaching both diplomatic to military support, and regional security both the ambition and the way towards stability.

At the institute’s hall for the development of human resources training in Riyadh, activities kicked off with a speech relayed by Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, CEO of King Abdullah Foundation, lauding the historic ties shared between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Europe.

Secretary-General of the King Faisal Center Dr. Saud Al-Sarhan said that the workshop comes within the framework of the keenness harbored by the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies to uphold close ties with various international academic and research institutions in order to serve academic research encompassing regional issues.

The European council’s panel was represented by senior officials and experts. More so, the discussions were attended by a number of ambassadors and diplomats of some European countries.
