Jeddah– Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed regional matters during a phone conversation on Wednesday.

During the call, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and developments in the region and the world.

The two leaders also stressed the depth of the strategic relations between their two countries and means to strengthen them to serve the two brotherly peoples.

Earlier, King Salman received at al-Salam Palace former President of the Republic of Turkey Abdullah Gul.

During the meeting, they exchanged talks on a number of topics of mutual interest.

The audience was attended by Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Cabinet’s Member Musaed bin Mohammed al-Aiban, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Nizar bin Obaid Madani and Turkish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Yunus Demirer.
