Dammam – A number of masked men shot citizens in two separate incidents in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. In al-Awamiyyah, a citizen was shot in his leg and transported to al-Qatif Central Hospital.

The gunmen also tried to shoot, and missed, another citizen standing next to al-Qadeeh school on Wednesday morning.

Eastern Province spokesman Col. Ziad Al-Raqqati said that around 5:30 in the afternoon of Tuesday, police in Qatif was informed by the central hospital that a young man in his twenties from al-Qadeeh town arrived at the hospital with two gun wounds in his leg and foot.

During interrogation, the victim said he suspected that the two men who shot him were wanted by the authorities.

Authorities began investigation to seek and arrest the two men.

On October 30, 2016, Saudi Ministry of Interior announced a list of wanted persons: Jaafar bin Hassan Makki al-Mubaireek , Fadel Abdullah Mohammed Al Hamada, Ali Bilal Saud Al Hamad, Mohammed bin Hussein Ali Al Ammar, Maitham bin Ali Mohammed al-Qudaihi , Mufeed Hamza bin Ali al-Alwan, Majid bin Ali Abdulrahim al-Faraj, Ayman Ibrahim Hassan al-Mukhtar, and Hassan Mahmoud Ali Abdullah who is a Bahraini national.

The Ministry is also seeking six other wanted persons on the list announced on February 2012: Ramzi Mohammed Al Jamal, Ali Hasan Al Zayid, Fadel Hasan al-Safwani, Mohammed Hasan Al Zayid, and Mohammed Issa Al Labbad.

Saudi police have arrested terror suspect Hussein Mohamed Ali Faraj, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry said.

Faraj, a Saudi national, was wanted by security authorities for committing a number of terrorist acts in Qatif, including shooting at civilians and public facilities and helping suspected terrorists.
