Mina- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz expressed great pride on all efforts exerted by the Kingdom’s military and security forces, alongside all other sectors who had worked relentlessly to serve visiting pilgrims for this year’s Hajj pilgrimage.

The King received at the Royal Court in Mina Palace on Monday princes, the Grand Mufti, Ulema, sheikhs, guests from GCC countries, ministers, commanders of all military sectors participating in Haj, and heads of scouts.

Speaking from the Mina Royal Court on Monday, “We are all honored to serve pilgrims and stay up the nights for their comfort. We spare no effort to provide safety and comfort so that they perform their rites with ease and peace of mind,” said King Salman.

“Your nation appreciates your noble deeds and your sacrifices in protecting the nation. We are proud of this, and we pray to Allah to help you and bless your efforts. We are continuing on the path of our forefathers in defending the religion and the nation,” he added.

At the end of his speech, King Salman mentioned lost martyrs saying: “On this day we remember our heroes — the martyrs — who sacrificed their lives in defending their religion and their nation. We pray to Almighty Allah to have mercy on their souls and to make paradise their abode. We pray to Allah to grant quick recovery to the injured. We also pray to Allah to protect our country.”

On the other hand, Saudi Arabia’s Defense Minister and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense performed Eid Al-Adh-ha prayer on Monday alongside soldiers and those who joined Yemen Legitimacy Support Coalition Forces at the southern borderline near Jizan, Saudi Arabia .

Following the prayer, Deputy Crown Prince conveyed King Salman’s greetings to all personnel who had joined this valiant mission.

All the attendees, then, shared a meal with the Deputy Crown Prince.

According to the state’s news agency (SPA), Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman then chaired a meeting during which commanders of military units reported on the current situation, briefing the Deputy Crown Prince on field liabilities.

The meeting was attended by General Abdulrahman Al-Bunayan, the Chief of General Staff; Fahd Al-Isa, the Consultant at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the office of the Defense Minister; Major General Abdullah Al-Gafary, Commander of the Southern Region; Major General Staff Ahmed Assiri, the Military Consultant for the Defense Minister; and a number of officials.
