King Salman Sends a Cable of Condolences to Japanese Emperor on death of Prince Mikasa | ASHARQ AL-AWSAT English Archive 2005 -2017

Riyadh – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz has sent a cable of condolences to the Japanese Emperor Akihito on the death of Prince Mikasa.

In his cable, the King said that: “We have been informed of the death of Prince Mikasa. On behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi of Arabia and in my name, I send to your Majesty, the family of Prince Mikasa, and the Japanese government and people our deepest condolences and sincerest consolation. We wish you good health and happiness, with best regards.”

Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Saudi Minister of Interior, also sent cable of condolences to Emperor Akihito on the death of Prince Mikasa. The cable included condolences and sympathy to the Emperor Akihito, the government and people of Japan, and the family of the deceased.

Prince Mohammed said: “I have been informed of the death of Prince Mikasa. I extend to your Majesty, the government and people of Japan, and the family of the deceased our deepest and sincerest condolences, and wish you health and happiness”.

Also,Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Prime Minister and the Saudi Defense Minister, sent a cable of condolences to the Emperor Akihito.

Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed said: “I learned the news of the death of Prince Mikasa. I offer your Majesty, the government and people of Japan, and the bereaved family my sincerest condolences, wishing you health and happiness”.
