The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz said “In this country, we are fathers and sons to each other; we stand as one. We rejoice for each other and appreciate the success of each other”. He continued by saying that Saudi Arabia “has achieved progress in all areas including education as you can see now in schools and universities. There were many years during which people could not read. Now, thank God, the people of our country have made progress in science, education and all state institutions”.

At the Riyadh schools’ ceremony, which was held under King Salman’s auspices, to mark the graduation of the 41st batch of students and honour outstanding and talented students, he said “I’m happy tonight to be with you as a father. I am happy for the children of this country and its residents who graduated tonight. In this country we are joyous and happy to see our children at this level of educational advancement.”

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques continued by saying “Despite attending this event as the father of Rakan bin Salman, I am a father to you all and a brother to all of your parents.”

During a speech given by the Director General of Riyadh Schools, he pointed out that schools have undergone a four-year developmental stage under the guidance of the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz after a stage of cooperation with a global consulting group for the development of educational programmes.
